Cline Reasor, CFP®
Managing Partner
Cline Reasor serves as a Managing Partner for Gratus Wealth Advisors. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with Morgan Stanley and joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow (Truist) in 2011 where he worked as a Financial Advisor until founding Gratus Wealth Advisors.
Cline earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the United States Naval Academy and is a 2015 graduate of the Chamber’s LEAD Hampton Roads leadership development program.
He’s been named to the Hampton Roads Top 40 Under 40 and is actively involved in the community. He serves on the ForKids board, a local nonprofit seeking to break the cycle of homelessness for children and families. Additionally, Cline is the treasurer and an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk. He also enjoys being outdoors, particularly backpacking, biking, and rafting.
He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for over 20 years and they have four children. In their free time, they enjoy going to the beach in their neighborhood and traveling.
Certified Financial PlannersTM (CFP®) are licensed by the CFP® Board to use the CFP® mark. CFP® certification requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, completion of the financial planning education requirements set by the CFP® Board (www.cfp.net), successful completion of the CFP® Certification Exam, comprised of two three-hour sessions, experience requirement: 6,000 hours of professional experience related to the financial planning process, or 4,000 hours of Apprenticeship experience that meets additional requirements, successfully pass the Candidate Fitness Standards and background check, agree annually to be bound by CFP® Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct, and complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including two hours on the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
