Cline Reasor, CFP®
Managing Partner
Cline Reasor serves as Managing Partner of Gratus Wealth Advisors. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, he brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with Morgan Stanley and later joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow (now Truist), where he worked as a Financial Advisor before founding Gratus Wealth Advisors.
Cline earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the United States Naval Academy and is a 2015 graduate of the Chamber’s LEAD Hampton Roads leadership development program. He has been recognized among Hampton Roads’ Top 40 Under 40 and continues to be actively engaged in the community. Today, he serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for ForKids, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty for children and families. In addition, he is an Elder, Trustee, and Treasurer at First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
Beyond his professional and community commitments, Cline values time with his family. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for more than 20 years and have four children. As a family, they enjoy beach days, traveling, and outdoor adventures together.
Certified Financial PlannersTM (CFP®) are licensed by the CFP® Board to use the CFP® mark. CFP® certification requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, completion of the financial planning education requirements set by the CFP® Board (www.cfp.net), successful completion of the CFP® Certification Exam, comprised of two three-hour sessions, experience requirement: 6,000 hours of professional experience related to the financial planning process, or 4,000 hours of Apprenticeship experience that meets additional requirements, successfully pass the Candidate Fitness Standards and background check, agree annually to be bound by CFP® Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct, and complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including two hours on the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
